2. Conditions of participation
Only persons of legal age (18+) are eligible to participate. The participation of minors is excluded.
Each participant is obliged to bring his/her own bicycle. The bicycles must meet the requirements of the Austrian Road Traffic Regulations (StVO). This forms the legal basis for the equipment.
Participation in all events is at the participant’s own risk. By registering, participants expressly agree that the organiser is not liable for any personal injury, property damage or financial loss that may occur during the ECMC.
3. Registration, tickets & refund
Registration is only valid once the participation fee has been paid. Payments are made by bank transfer only.
Tickets are transferable, but must be correctly re-registered when handed over.
A refund is generally possible. In the event of cancellation due to force majeure or circumstances for which the organiser is not responsible, a partial refund may be made. In the event of cancellation due to weather conditions, there is no entitlement to a full refund.
4. Behaviour & awareness
ECMC 2025 is committed to a clear awareness approach: we do not tolerate any discriminatory, sexist, racist or abusive behaviour – either on or off the course.
At all event venues, there are visibly recognisable awareness people who are approachable, mediate and provide support.
Anyone who engages in disrespectful or transgressive behaviour will be warned or excluded from the event, depending on the severity of the incident.
For more details check our code of conduct.
Participation in the ECMC requires that these principles are accepted and respected.
5. Media use & data protection
By registering, participants agree that photos and videos may be taken during the ECMC.
These may be used by the organiser for documentation purposes, social media and the website.
If you do not wish to be recorded, please actively inform the organiser before the start of the event – ideally by email.
6. Final notes
The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the schedule or programme.
Should the event have to be cancelled or changed for reasons of force majeure, appropriate solutions for refunds or rebooking will be offered.
By registering for ECMC 2025, participants accept these terms and conditions in full.
