    Want to help shape ECMC 2025 from the inside?

    ECMC doesn’t run on its own. Wanna help out, photograph, build stuff or run a checkpoint? Good! Join the crew, Because we can’t do this without you.

    Volunteers are the core of every messenger championship – and whether you’re a local rider, international veteran, or just curious about the scene, there’s always a way to contribute.

    Here’s what we’re looking for:

    • Awaremess crews
    • Checkpoint crews
    • Race setup and teardown
    • Registration support
    • Media team (photo/video)
    • Hospitality (food, info, housing coordination)
    • First aid or medical staff
    • Artists, DJs, performers, cooks, translators – and more
    • Anything else useful – got skills, gear, or weird ideas? Let us know

    To say thanks for your time and energy you will get a free merchandise fom the ECMC, food and some free drinks.

    Volunteers will be briefed before each event or shift and connected via Telegram. There will be a daily morning standup at HQ and a dedicated coordinator for each area.

    Local Volunteers who are club members of Velo Bund, Spicing Cycling Girls * or Radlobby Salzburg get a Chill ECMC ticket that allows them to join alleycats and group rides for free.

    Race number, housing and external parties with extra cost are not included.

  • Co-create ECMC

    Co-create ECMC

    Got something to bring to ECMC 2025? Let’s make space for it.

    ECMC has always been more than races. It’s also about community, creativity, and connection. We know that every crew, collective or corner of the scene brings something different – and we want to invite you to bring that energy to Salzburg.

    This is an open call to other communities, crews, clubs and collectives: if you want to host a workshop, organize a side event, set up a booth, build a chill space, or create something we haven’t thought of yet – get in touch.

    We can help you plug into the existing schedule or give you the space to do your own thing independently. Whether it’s a queer ride, a zine table, a film screening, or a spontaneous session on wheels – ECMC 2025 is open to collaboration.

    If it fits the spirit, we’ll try to make it fit the weekend.

    The The European Cycle Messenger Championship 2025 (ECMC) is on the calendar and happening from 11th to 14th September in Salzburg.

    Supporting the ECMC is an opportunity to connect with international cyclists, increase visibility within the urban cycling community and demonstrate a commitment to sustainability and active living.
