WTNB
By WTNB we mean all non-cis-male persons, summarized as all women, transgender and nonbinary people.
We use WTNB, since this is the official name of one of the two CMWC categories.
In german speaking areas you’ll also find the acronym FLINTA: female, lesbian, intersex, nonbinary, trans and agender. The L for lesbian (sexual orientation) is here specifically named, to honor the important role the lesbian movement had in feminist struggles.
Further used acronyms are: TINFA (transgender, intersex, nonbinary, female, agender) and FINTA (female, intersex, nonbinary, transgender, agender).
In english, WTNBIA is a version which also explicitly includes intersex and agender people.
Open
The category “Open” is open to everyone.
Cis-Gender/Cis-Male: Cis-gender people identify with the gender that was assigned to them at birth. Cis-men are therefore people who were assigned as male at birth and who identify themselves as men.
Cis-men can only take part in the category “Open”.
