The European Cycle Messenger Championship (ECMC) annually unites bike messengers from across Europe.
In competitive races and skill challenges the best in the scene are honured over four days. Beyond friendly rivalry, it‘s a community hub for networking and celebrating their profession, fostering camaraderie and highlighting cycling‘s role in urban sustainability.
Salzburg is hosting the ECMC on 11.-14. September 2025.

What is the ECMC?
Celebration of urban cycling – up to 300 cycle messengers: professional cyclists from diverse backgrounds across Europe.
Races & events all over the city: main race, scavenger hunt, sprint, goldsprint, hill sprint, foot down, trackstand, skid and more…
Strong community feeling: housing, eating, competing & partying together on 4 days in Salzburg, in a very inclusive and welcoming ambient.
Sharing experiences, networking, passing on knowledge through the messenger community to and for like-minded people.
